Who Should You “Coin”?

CoiningThat title might look like a marketing question, but it’s actually a recognition ceremony I heard about recently from the armed forces. Generals give a commemorative coin to men of integrity as one of the highest gestures of honor.

Along those lines, who can you “coin” during this Holiday season? We can coin those that we respect in many ways: giving the gift of time/attention/listening; giving a thoughtful gift; giving a compliment/affirmation; giving an extra perk on the job; giving a high-five for a great idea…

The key word in that list is “giving.” Christmas is a season of giving. It’s looking around us at our circle of influence and making someone’s day. And you don’t need a special coin to do that. Just a special intent and action!
