5 Actions to Have Your Best Summer Ever

A summer of smiles await you!

1. Get your vacation(s) on your calendar now. They don’t have to be expensive destinations. Plan a long weekend to a beautiful area of your state, or a day-hike with a night in a hotel with a great pool.

2. Enjoy your family. Make memories with each member of your family. Find something each person likes to do and make a date out of it. Take pictures. At the end of the summer, get a collage made of the photos.

3. Read. Whether it’s reading a novel for fun, catching up with your professional development reading, or perusing magazines that build your health or hobbies, grab a cozy chair outside and open your mind.

4. Try something new. What have you always wanted to explore, but have never pulled the trigger? Painting, archery, cooking, golf lessons–check one thing off your bucket list in the next 3 months.

5. Simplify. I know cleaning doesn’t sound like much fun, but all that clutter is weighing you down, whether you are conscious of it or not. Donate what you aren’t using to charity or have a yard sale for some extra cash.

Now it’s time for you to add to my list! #6 is….?
